Dear UK Customers

Due to the still unknown trade terms with the UK from January 1st, SUNWILL unfortunately has to hold back orders received from December 29th and until further notice from the UK and our Freight forwarder.

We hope to have the new set up ready for easy sending and handling of orders to the UK from January 11th 2021. We will keep you updated.

We are extremely sorry for the delay and inconvenience this may cause, but our aim is to get as smooth a transition as possible for our customers.

Short trousers

‘Shorts’ is the technical term for short trousers that fall above the knee. There are many names for the different types of short trousers – Capri pants, Bermuda shorts and knee-lengths, to name but a few.

To make it easier for you the customer, we have split our shorts into 2 categories: those that fall above the knee (what we call shorts), and those that fall below the knee (what we call long shorts).

The short trouser model has been around for the same time as long trousers, but it has always been linked to sports activities, small boys and tropical climes. When adult men used to wear shorts, it was always with long socks that covered the entire lower leg. Fortunately, times have changed. It's not that long ago that shorts became a normal sight in both the fashion world and townscape, and they have now become a staple item in every man’s wardrobe.

Even though shorts are still a no-go in standard uniform dress, they are increasingly paired with what we would call smarter attire. They come in many fabrics and colours, and SUNWILL has chosen classic sand, army and navy shades for our range.

It’s not unusual now to combine a pair of shorts with a T-shirt and blazer, a nice shirt and tie or, even better, a bow tie.
